Mountains By Nature grew out of a collaboration between two fun loving adventurers from the United States and New Zealand. Seth Quigg from Crested Butte in Colorado, joined forces with Hamish McMaster from Queenstown to share their passion for not only hiking, but the outdoors and reflecting on a different way to see the world one step at a time. We embrace and learn about other cultures on our international adventures and far from feeling like isolated tourists in a country, we integrate often getting incredible unique experiences because of it.
Seth has spent decades leading trips all around the globe, guiding the best hikes and mountain routes in the world, in such countries as The United States, Peru, Chile, Equador, Australia, Europe, Nepal, India, Mexico and New Zealand. Hamish has been running whitewater adventures around the globe for the past 25 years, so the blending of ideas and passion for the outdoors, seemed like the perfect partnership. Our vision is to create a company dedicated to providing safe, fun, exciting and cultural adventures for clients and guides alike. Seth and Hamish lead a team of world-renowned hiking and adventure professionals, who are helping them to realize this vision.
They both still love nothing more than getting out on a certain number of adventures every year. It’s their ‘happy place’. It is important for them both to spend time connecting with customers and guides to ensure we are delivering the quality product we strive to give you.
